Thursday Art group - Session 1

In this session we had a brief introduction to art and some of the areas of human creativity it relates to. We then explored mark-making with pencils.
Class were asked to divide a page into several squares and then, using different pencils, experiment with pattern, texture and line pressure.
We then did a couple of exercises in drawing and mark making. Below are some of the results from the second exercise.
